November 3, 2020 is going to be a hectic day, it makes sense that election would happen to land on the year of a pandemic, protests, and more. The main presidential candidates for this election are Donald J. Trump and Joe Biden. They are all very much on different sides and both have an equal chance to win.
Every American is going to have to wait til November 3, til we can finally find out who the president is going to be, but Trump has different plans.
In a press conference on Wednesday, declined to peacefully leaving the White House if he loses the election. From CNN Politics, Trump said “Well, we’re gonna have to see what happens.” He has also refused to say whether or not he would accept the election results. This conference has striked concern that, should he lose in November, he won’t be giving up his office.
Now if Trump were to lose and refuse to leave the office whenever his term has ended then what will happen? Refusal to give up an office hasn’t happened much is the past of presidency so America will just have to see what happens. Now all this is just depending on whether or not he lose his spot in the White House.
In the past Trump has jokingly stated that he would be staying in the White House well past his two terms as President of the United States. He would be the second President in the U.S. history to ever stay in the presidency after two terms alongside President Roosevelt .
Although his refusal to ensure a violent-free leave from Presidency is causing fear among the people. But the future will hold what will happen with this 2020 presidential election.
