NFL Reporter Melissa Stark could have used a heads up as a football was on its way to hit her head. Stark was giving a report on the Los Angeles Chargers and the Tennessee Titans game in London when a football came flying towards her and hit her in the back of the head. She just shook it off and continued to give her report right after the incident. According to Huffington Post, after Stark was hit, she said “Oh, okay. Nothing like live television. I’m okay,”

It’s kind of ironic that she got hit in the head while she was reporting injury updates, including the Chargers running back, Melvin Gordon’s, hamstring injury. The whole thing was caught on live TV, which of course, she was probably thrilled about.

Following the broadcast, Stark tweeted later and said, “Hurts more every time I watch it. [This has] literally NEVER happened in 20 years covering NFL… London, I’ll never forget you!!” She addressed the painful blip on Instagram as well. “FYI, yes this really happened today…in London of all places (I guess wearing an English military jacket doesn’t always protect you),” she wrote.

Luckily, she didn’t get a concussion. She took the hit like a champ and kept on reporting what she needed to.
