The year is coming to a close, and as the NFL Playoffs went on, I would make my predictions and talk about the matchups. I haven’t been very accurate with guessing the outcome of the games, so I’m just going to talk about what there is to expect from the 52nd Super Bowl matchup.

I’m going to be completely honest here, I am a Tom Brady fan. In my true and honest opinion, he is the greatest to ever play quarterback. I’m not a Patriots fan though (my team is the Cowboys and this past year served to be really sucky for them). It’s not that I have anything against them, it’s just that they aren’t my favorite team. But let’s get back to Tom Brady. He has made 7 Super Bowl starts, which is ridiculous. Not to even mention that he has won 5 of those 7 games. Sports announcers alike will agree that Tom Brady, during the playoffs, is dangerous for opposing teams.

Regarding the Eagles, this is a team that has surprised me again and again. They’ve overcome the loss of a starting quarterback, a difficult side of the playoff bracket, and beating veteran teams. Although I certainly didn’t expect it, the Eagles have proved themselves as a worthy opponent to the Patriots. Maybe, this hard work and determination is enough to overthrow the reigning champs. I certainly hope for a good game (unlike Super Bowl XLVIII in which the Seahawks destroyed the Broncos 43-8).
