Taylor Swift was the headliner for this years Jingle Ball in Los Angeles. Other performers included Sam Smith, the Chainsmokers, Charlie Puth, Demi Lovato, Kesha and more.

Ed Sheeran had an opening show hours earlier with an acoustic version of “Thinking Out Loud” and “Shape of You,” he then joined Taylor Swift with her new song “End Game” from her Reputation album, which is celebrating its third week as the number one album on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Taylor Swift then opened her set with “Are You Ready For It,” with backup dancers and all. She then performed some of her older songs before performing an acoustic version of “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever”.

But Taylor and Ed Sheeran weren’t the only surprise collab. Kesha and Macklemore performed “Good Ole Days”, as well as Lauren Jauregui from Fifth Harmony and Halsey. They sang “Strangers” and then Halsey went to perform her own song “Closer” with the Chainsmokers. Demi Lovato was next to sing three songs from her album. She had a gospel choir join her on her last two songs “Tell Me You Love Me” and “Sorry Not Sorry”. It was a very powerful performance.

Other artists such as Charlie Puth had a raw performance of “Attention” and “See You Again”. He also did a Christmas cover of “This Is Christmas” while Logic mixed the holiday songs “Deck The Halls” with his hit “Fade Away”.

As you can tell this year’s Jingle Ball was big success with great music and lots of fun. It has definitely made me excited for Christmas and the new year. And hopefully 2018 will be better than 2017. So let’s hope all these good songs bring us a better year!
