Girls Trip, I had just recently watched this movie with some of my other family members, and I noticed that we all had different opinions. One thing that we all had in common was that we all thought it was hilarious. Not everyone has the same opinions about this movie. Some are horrible and some are good. You can see both sides to each story.

Many women in the black culture were very offended. They are saying that they were disappointed in the way this movie mad the 21st century women look. Most people were offended about the language, drugs, nudity, and the sexual jokes that was all involved. This movie shocked many of its viewers to the point they were hating on the actors. A woman had said on common sense media  “And we complain when our black men marry into another culture or we can’t get a man. I took my mom to the show for her 81st birthday and we weren’t laughing but we were dehumanized by the graphics and language that defined the 21st century “woman”. The black community deserves an apology from the leading stars. Tiffany Haddish, Queen Latifa, Jada Pickett Smith, and Regina Hall: Shame on you!!!” This woman was not happy with the movie and said she would rate it 0 if she could. This is not a movie for people who are very religious.

On the other side some people thought this movie was the best. “Tumble over funny” “Best things I’ve seen in years.” “I would rate it 100 if I could” and many more quotes. They were so pleased with the movie that they might have even watched it more than once.  Mothers/Fathers said that it’s not a movie for children under the age of 17, and if 16 then suggested a parent to be present. A women on common sense media said This movie is hysterically funny from start to finish. It’s not for children and if you’re in to church, this is DEFINITELY NOT your media type. For those that enjoy a great laugh (and I do mean great), this is a MUST SEE! This is gutt grabbing funny. I’m going to go see this again! 2 thumbs up all day long.” She had made it very clear that she had loved the movie and also gave advice.

My family was laughing very hard and even watched it once more.  My step dad about fell out of his chair seeing that there was nudity and wasn’t happy about it. I can see both sides, I can understand that some people were offended and I can also see why some loved it so much that they watched it over again. It just depends on how you feel about the black history and everything that is involved in the movie. But overall I would rate it a clear 4.
